Thank you for your interest in our law firm. We are presently going through some exciting changes as we are expanding our practice. The law firm of Vincent D. Morgera, Ltd has recently opened an additional law office in downtown historic Newport at One Court House Square, adjacent to the Newport County Court House in Washington Square and the Old Colony House - locations used in the film Amistad!
Our new office location in Newport will help us to better serve our medical malpractice and personal injury clientele as well as the coastal seafaring community as Attorney Morgera is a Proctor in Admiralty and Maritime Law. We also have our long standing Providence office location in the landmark Turks Head Building.
Due to our growing practice, we have increased our staff of legal medical consultants and hired two new attorneys.
Before joining our firm, Attorney Kathryn J. Wickenheiser, a magna cum laude National Honor Society Scholar, practiced law in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts in the field of Social Security Disability. Attorney Wickenheiser's specialization in Social Security Disability brings to this firm a vast knowledge of medicine, as well as extensive recurrent courtroom experience examining copious medical experts, providing our clients with exceptional representation and guidance in each individual medical malpractice case.
Attorney Jennifer Gehringer has had extensive legal experience including positions with the Legal Counsel to the Office of the Governor, the RI Attorney General's Office, and the Department of Defense at the Naval Surface Warfare Center in Bethesda, Maryland. Jennifer has also worked in several firms in Newport, Providence and Maryland, and she served as an intern to the Honorable Stephen Erickson in the Newport District Court, all of which have provided her with a strong background in civil litigation and particularly personal injury law.
